Are NS&I pensioner bonds still available?
Pensioners Guaranteed Income Bonds and Capital Bonds have all now matured and been closed completely. Any remaining funds have been transferred to the NS&I Residual Account.

As of January 1, 2012, paper savings bonds are no longer sold at financial institutions. The only way to buy EE bonds is to buy them in electronic form in TreasuryDirect.
