How long is Del Mar racing season?
There are two “seasons” for horse racing here in North County San Diego. The first season takes place in the summer (August through September) and the second in the fall/winter (November through December).

Are there horse races at Del Mar today?
Horse racing at Del Mar runs Wednesday through Sunday (dark on Monday and Tuesday), with post time for the first race on most days at 2:00 PM. On Fridays first post is 4:00 PM. How much are box seats at Del Mar racetrack?
Box seats, starting at $375 per seat, remain available for Friday in the Stretch Run section. Fans will have access to a shaded, open-air box, with great views of the horses as they turn for home.
Where are the best seats at Del Mar race track?
The nicest area is the “Clubhouse”, which is a few dollars more than General Admission. As for reserved seats, IMHO, the reserved seats just past the finish line, somewhat high up are the best to watch the entire race.
